Commissions & Shipping Policy

1. Custom Artwork: All portraits are custom-made based on the reference photo(s) you provide. Please ensure that all reference images provided are clear, high quality and exactly what you would like painted.

2. Acceptable Content: We reserve the right to decline any commission request that includes explicit, offensive, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate subject matter. If an order is placed that falls these categories, it will not be accepted and a full refund will be issued.

3. Orders & Payment: Full payment is required upfront to secure your commission. Work will begin only after payment has been received and your reference image(s) have been submitted.

4. Refunds & Cancellations: Due to the custom nature of each piece, all orders are final once a payment has been made and a reference image has been provided. Cancellations and refunds are not available after this point. Please review your order details carefully before completing your purchase. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us beforehand.

5. Turnaround Time: Estimated completion times may very depending on the complexity of the piece. If artwork is needed as a gift for a specific holiday or date, make sure to order at least a month prior.

6. Shipping: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout, and will vary depending on location. Delivery times may also vary depending on your location and based on holidays. Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Orders placed within the areas of Newmarket, Bradford, and Aurora are eligible for a cheaper local delivery without having to be shipped via mail.

7. Damaged or Lost Items: If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the order with your order number, and provide a clear photo of the packaging, and a clear photo of the artwork. We will assess the situation and provide instructions on how to proceed. Disclaimer: We are not responsible for any delays, loss or damages caused by the shipping carrier.

8. Artist Rights: At MyBrushieStudios, we retain the right to share, with your consent, completed artwork on our website and social media for portfolio and promotional purposes. If you would prefer your commissioned piece to remain private, please let us know at the time of ordering, and we will respect your request. Client names and personal information will never be shared without permission.
